Quad differential comparator in a 14-TSSOP footprint

It accepts a single supply from 2V to 30V or a dual supply from ±1V to ±15V, making it a flexible fit for mixed-voltage boards where one rail powers the comparator and the other sets the reference.

Each of the four comparators can sink up to 20 mA typical at the output. The open-collector output stage lets you pull up to a voltage independent of the comparator supply — useful for interfacing 5 V logic from a 12 V-powered comparator, or driving a small relay coil directly without a buffer transistor. The quiescent current draw is 2.5 mA max across all four channels. That keeps the thermal load low in the 14-TSSOP package, which has no exposed pad — the copper pour on the PCB is the only heat path.

The pin functions are the same — the standard LM339 quad-comparator pinout — so the electrical replacement is direct. The PCB footprint, however, is different: TSSOP has a tighter 0.65 mm lead pitch versus SOIC's 1.27 mm. If the board is laid out for SOIC, the TSSOP part will not fit without a redesign or an adapter. Check the existing board's pad pattern before ordering.
