Input offset and bias — what they mean for threshold accuracy
Maximum input offset voltage is 5 mV at 30 V supply; maximum input bias current is 0.25 µA at 5 V. For a simple threshold detector with a 100 kΩ divider network, that bias current contributes about 25 mV of error — budget this into the trip-point calculation. Quiescent current tops out at 2.5 mA for all four comparators, which keeps the thermal rise minimal in the DIP package even when all channels are switching.
