Supply flexibility and output drive
The open-collector outputs (CMOS, MOS, TTL compatible) allow wired-OR connections and pull-up to any voltage within the supply range, making the part useful for window comparators, zero-crossing detectors, and oscillator circuits. Quiescent current is capped at 2.5 mA max across all four comparators — a reasonable budget for a multi-channel signal-conditioning block on a 5 V or 3.3 V rail. Input offset voltage is 3 mV max at 30 V supply, and input bias current is 0.25 µA max at 5 V. These figures are typical for a general-purpose comparator and adequate for threshold detection and level sensing in temperature-controlled environments (0°C to 70°C).
