Fixed 2.49 V shunt reference in a TO-92-3 package
It delivers up to 10 mA output current with a minimum cathode current of 400 µA, making it a straightforward bias or ADC reference for commercial-temperature designs.
The ±4% tolerance on the 2.49 V output means the actual reference voltage can range from about 2.39 V to 2.59 V. This is a wide bin — fine for setting a comparator threshold or biasing an op-amp, but not tight enough for a precision ADC reference without external trimming or a higher-grade part.
Commercial temperature range, through-hole package
The TO-92-3 package is a three-lead through-hole format that hand-solders easily and fits standard 0.100-inch pitch prototyping boards.
