LinCMOS quad op-amp — 1.5 mA supply for multi-channel signal chains
The 45 nA input bias current (typical) lets you use higher-value feedback resistors without offset drift, useful for transimpedance or precision integrator stages.
Gain-bandwidth product is 1 MHz, so at a closed-loop gain of 10 you have about 100 kHz of usable bandwidth — enough for audio, low-speed data acquisition, or control-loop filtering. The 2 mV typical input offset voltage is standard for a general-purpose op-amp; if your application needs sub-mV precision, you will want to budget for an external trim or move to a zero-drift amplifier.
Do not spec it for automotive under-hood, outdoor telecom cabinets, or factory-floor enclosures without climate control — the commercial grade will not hold over the extended temperature swings those settings demand.
14-TSSOP footprint — board-space trade-off
The 14-TSSOP package (0.173-inch body, 4.4 mm width) saves about 40% board area versus a 14-SOIC, but the 0.65 mm pin pitch calls for a controlled solder profile and a fine-pitch stencil. For rework, a hot-air station with a small nozzle works; the narrow body means the adjacent pins heat quickly, so a low-temperature solder paste (e.g., SAC305) and a preheat plate reduce tombstoning risk.
