90 µA per channel — the power budget difference
The LM324LVIPWR is Texas Instruments' low-voltage, low-power evolution of the classic LM324 quad op-amp. Each of the four channels draws 90 µA supply current, which drops the total quiescent draw to 360 µA for the whole device — a fraction of the original LM324's 1.5 mA or so per amplifier. The 15 pA input bias current and 1 mV input offset voltage keep DC errors low in high-impedance circuits like photodiode amplifiers or thermocouple interfaces.
125 °C operating range — where it runs
That 125 °C ceiling is the difference between a part that survives under-hood electronics, engine-bay sensor modules, or a motor-drive control board and one that derates at 85 °C.
14-TSSOP footprint — board-area reality
It is a surface-mount part — no through-hole option — so the reflow profile and stencil aperture for the 0.65 mm pitch need to be right.
