Quad op-amp for general-purpose signal conditioning
The Texas Instruments LM324KAD is a quad-channel, general-purpose operational amplifier in a 14-SOIC surface-mount package. It delivers a gain-bandwidth product of 1.2 MHz and a slew rate of 0.5 V/µs, operating from a single or split supply spanning 3 V to 30 V. Each of the four amplifiers can source or sink 30 mA, with a total supply current of 1.4 mA for all four channels.
The 0.5 V/µs slew rate and 1.2 MHz gain-bandwidth are textbook LM324 numbers.
The supplier device package is 14-SOIC, a standard footprint shared across the LM324 family and many other quad op-amps. Surface-mount assembly with a typical reflow profile works; no special thermal management is needed for the 1.4 mA total supply current.
The base product number is LM324, a long-running industry-standard quad op-amp family.
