Fixed 10V rail for industrial and analog loads
The LM2937IMP-10/NOPB is a fixed 10V output LDO from Texas Instruments, delivering 400mA continuous current from a 26V maximum input rail. The fixed output eliminates the external resistor divider, reducing BOM count and feedback-node noise pickup — a practical advantage when the rail powers a sensitive ADC reference or a low-noise analog front-end. The 1V dropout at 50mA (max) means the input can sag to 11V before the output loses regulation, which is useful when the supply is a loosely regulated 12V bus or a battery that droops under load.
Protection that saves board space
On-chip over-temperature shutdown, reverse polarity protection, and short-circuit current limiting are integrated — no external TVS diode or foldback circuit needed. This matters on a dense board where every component counts. The quiescent current is 2 mA typical, and the maximum supply current is 20 mA — the LDO's own consumption stays low even at full load, which helps in always-on or battery-backed systems.
