10V fixed rail for industrial loads
The LM2937ET-10/NOPB is a single-output positive LDO that delivers a fixed 10V at up to 500 mA continuous. The dropout voltage is specified at 1V max at 50 mA load — so the input rail needs at least 11V to regulate cleanly; at full load the dropout climbs, but the datasheet curve gives the headroom you need for the worst-case line transient. Built-in protection against over-temperature, reverse polarity, and output short circuits means you can skip the external crowbar or series diode in many designs — one less BOM line to manage.
Industrial temp grade and package
The TO-220-3 through-hole package makes it a straightforward retrofit on existing boards with a 0.100-inch pitch footprint, and the tab is the ground plane — bolt it to a heatsink if the load stays above 300 mA continuously. Quiescent current is 2 mA typical, and the maximum supply current is 20 mA — low enough that the regulator's own dissipation won't steal from the load budget in a lightly loaded system.
