Automotive-grade dual op-amp — what the ratings mean
Each channel draws 500 µA supply current, keeping the thermal budget manageable in dense ECU layouts. Gain-bandwidth product is 700 kHz with a 0.3 V/µs slew rate. This limits the part to low-frequency signal chains — think DC level shifting, temperature sensor buffering, or comparator functions — not audio or switching regulator compensation above a few hundred kilohertz. These are relaxed compared to precision op-amps, but adequate for general-purpose feedback loops where the signal amplitude is hundreds of millivolts or more. Output can source or sink 40 mA per channel.
