GBW and slew rate — bandwidth budget
For a unity-gain buffer, the -3 dB point is 700 kHz; at a gain of 10, the closed-loop bandwidth drops to 70 kHz. The slew rate limits large-signal swing: a 10 V peak-to-peak output slews at about 33 kHz before distortion sets in. This suits low-frequency loops — thermocouple amplifiers, 4-20 mA transmitters, and PWM-filter stages — not audio or high-speed ADC drivers.
Supply current and output drive
Each channel draws 500 µA supply current, keeping the total quiescent draw at 1 mA for the dual package. The 3 V to 26 V supply span covers common industrial rails — 5 V, 12 V, and 24 V — without a secondary regulator.
Input offset and bias — DC accuracy
For a non-inverting amplifier with 10 kΩ source impedance, the offset error from bias current is 0.2 mV — negligible against the 3 mV offset. This is adequate for 8-bit precision loops; for 12-bit or better, a precision op-amp with sub-mV offset is needed.
