Automotive dual op-amp with 36 V supply range
The 1.2 MHz gain-bandwidth product and 0.5 V/µs slew rate cover the typical bandwidth needed for signal conditioning, filter stages, and actuator drive loops in engine management, body electronics, and chassis systems.
The 1.2 MHz gain-bandwidth product sets the usable closed-loop bandwidth: at a gain of 10, expect about 120 kHz small-signal bandwidth. That is adequate for low-frequency sensor filtering, comparator-like threshold detection, and slow control loops, but not for audio line drivers or fast ADC front-ends. Input offset voltage is trimmed to 2 mV typical, and input bias current runs 10 nA, so high-impedance sources like 100 kΩ thermistor dividers see less than 1 mV of additional offset from bias current.
Housed in an 8-VSSOP (3.00 mm width) surface-mount package, the LM2904BAQDGKRQ1 is rated for -40°C to 125°C ambient operation — the full automotive temperature range. The push-pull output stage can source or sink 30 mA per channel, enough to drive small relays, LEDs, or the input of a downstream ADC. Supply current is 300 µA per amplifier, keeping the total quiescent draw under 600 µA for the dual.
