Dual differential comparator for industrial sensing and threshold detection
The LM2903VQDRG4: Its wide supply range from 2V to 36V lets it run directly off a 5V logic rail, a 12V battery bus, or a 24V industrial supply without an extra regulator.
The 2V to 36V single-supply range (or ±1V to ±18V split) means this comparator can monitor a 3.3V MCU output and a 24V sensor rail on the same die. No level translator needed between the two channels. Output types include CMOS, MOS, open-drain, and TTL — the open-drain option lets multiple comparators share a common pull-up for wired-OR interrupt lines, while the CMOS rail-to-rail swing directly drives a logic input without an external resistor.
The 8-SOIC (0.154-inch body width, 3.90mm) is one of the most rework-friendly packages in the catalog. The 1.27mm pitch gives plenty of room for a fine-tip iron or hot-air nozzle, and the body is small enough that the part reaches reflow temperature quickly without cooking adjacent components. Surface-mount only — no through-hole variant in this suffix.
