Temperature range and output flexibility
The output stage supports CMOS, MOS, open-collector, and TTL logic levels, allowing direct interface with 3.3V or 5V microcontrollers or PLC input modules without external pull-up voltage translation.
Input offset and bias — threshold accuracy in sensor circuits
Maximum input offset voltage is 7 mV at 5V, and maximum input bias current is 0.25 µA at 5V. In high-impedance sensor circuits (e.g., thermistor bridges, current-shunt monitors), the low bias current keeps the voltage error at the comparator input below 1 mV for source resistances up to 4 kΩ, preserving threshold accuracy without a buffer amplifier.
Quiescent current and output drive
Maximum quiescent current is 2.5 mA per comparator, and each output can sink or source up to 20 mA typical. The low idle current makes the part viable for always-on modules in automotive body controllers and battery-powered sensor nodes where the comparator is continuously powered.
Supplied in an 8-SOIC package (0.154" width, 3.90 mm body) with a 1.27 mm pitch.
