Supply range and input characteristics
The single-supply range spans 2 V to 30 V, or ±1 V to ±15 V with dual rails, which covers the common 5 V, 12 V, and 24 V industrial buses without an extra regulator. Maximum input offset voltage is 7 mV at 30 V supply, and maximum input bias current is 0.25 µA at 5 V — both figures are worst-case limits, not typicals, so the design-in margin must be budgeted against the full temperature sweep. Quiescent current maxes at 1 mA per device, which keeps the thermal load low in the 8-SOIC package even when both comparators are switching continuously.
Propagation delay and output drive
Typical propagation delay is 1 µs — this is the speed floor for the comparator loop. For overcurrent trip circuits or zero-crossing detection below 100 kHz, the 1 µs delay is adequate; above that, a faster comparator family is needed. The open-collector output sinks 6 mA typical at 5 V.
