Dual differential comparator for industrial and automotive signal chains
It compares two analog voltages and outputs a logic-level signal (open-drain, CMOS, MOS, or TTL compatible). The wide supply range from 2V to 36V (or ±1V to ±18V dual supplies) lets it interface directly with 3.3V, 5V, 12V, or 24V rails without a separate level shifter.
The 125°C ceiling covers under-hood automotive and industrial oven-adjacent placements that a 85°C commercial-grade comparator cannot handle. The 2.5mA max quiescent current per device keeps the thermal budget manageable in a sealed enclosure.
Output drive and input offset — fit for threshold detection
The 7mV max input offset at 30V supply sets the comparator's switching threshold accuracy — adequate for over-voltage/under-voltage detection, zero-crossing detectors, and window comparators where sub-millivolt precision is not required. The 0.25µA max input bias current at 5V minimises voltage drop across high-impedance source resistors.
