Wide supply range and output flexibility
The LM2903DG4 operates from a single supply of 2V to 36V or dual supplies of ±1V to ±18V, covering industrial and automotive rail voltages without an external regulator. The output stage supports CMOS, MOS, open-drain, and TTL logic families, so it interfaces directly with microcontrollers, PLDs, or discrete logic without level-shifting resistors. Two comparators in the 8-SOIC package (0.154" width, 3.90mm body) save board area compared to two single-channel comparators.
Industrial temperature grade and input characteristics
Maximum input offset voltage is 7mV at 30V supply, and maximum input bias current is 0.25µA at 5V — adequate for threshold detection and zero-crossing circuits in noisy environments. Output current capability is 20mA typical, enough to drive a logic input or an LED indicator directly.
