The LM2901NG4: With a 2V to 30V single-supply range, this comparator can be powered directly from a 12V or 24V industrial bus without a local LDO, simplifying the power tree and reducing component count. Maximum input offset voltage is 7mV at 30V supply — tight enough for window comparators and zero-crossing detectors in motor-drive current sensing, where a few millivolts of error shifts the trip point by a fraction of the sense-resistor drop. Maximum input bias current is 0.25µA at 5V, so high-impedance sources like thermistors or photodiodes see negligible loading — the bias current won't pull the threshold off by more than a few millivolts even with 10kΩ source resistance.
Open-collector output and quiescent current
Total quiescent current for all four comparators is 2.5mA max — low enough that the part adds negligible drain in battery-backed or always-on monitoring circuits.
