JFET input, TO-99 can — what this op-amp brings to the bench
The LF356H/NOPB is a single JFET-input operational amplifier from TI's BI-FET™ series, packed in a TO-99-8 metal can. It delivers a 5 MHz gain-bandwidth product and a 12V/µs slew rate, drawing 5 mA supply current. The JFET front end keeps input bias current at 30 pA, making it a natural fit for high-impedance sensor buffers, precision integrators, and low-level signal conditioning where bipolar input stages would load the source. The through-hole TO-99 package is hermetic and shielded — a legacy-friendly footprint for socketed or high-reliability boards that need to reject RFI pickup on the input lines.
30 V supply span — single or split rail
The supply span is 30 V maximum. The 0°C to 70°C commercial temperature grade covers bench, lab, and controlled indoor environments.
