The Texas Instruments ISO6721RBQDRQ1 is a two-channel, unidirectional capacitive-coupling digital isolator in the Functional Safety (FuSa) series, rated for 50 Mbps data throughput and 3000 Vrms isolation. The 50 Mbps line rate is enough for CAN FD, SPI, and UART links running at typical automotive bus speeds — you get clean signal edges with 2.6 ns typical rise/fall time and 18 ns max propagation delay per channel. The 3000 Vrms isolation rating covers the galvanic barrier requirements for traction inverter, BMS, and on-board charger communication interfaces where the system must survive a 60-second hi-pot test.
