Hermetic CDIP instrumentation amp for extreme-temperature signal chains
The INA333SJD: It is part of the INA333 family, designed for low-power (50 µA supply) precision signal conditioning with rail-to-rail output swing. The -55°C to 210°C operating temperature range is the defining procurement spec — this hermetic package variant is rated for environments where standard plastic SOIC parts cannot survive, such as downhole logging, engine-mount sensors, and high-temperature test chambers.
150 kHz bandwidth and 0.16 V/µs slew rate — DC-precision signal path
The 10 µV input offset voltage and 70 pA input bias current keep the DC error budget tight without needing frequent auto-zero cycles. The 40 mA output drive per channel swings a rail-to-rail signal into a successive-stage ADC or a remote PLC input module.
The hermetic CDIP package, however, is a lower-volume variant — expect longer factory lead times than the plastic SOIC-8 version (INA333AID), and plan procurement with a longer horizon. The window-lid CDIP package allows die inspection and UV-EPROM-style erasure if the die carries on-chip trim fuses — a feature valued in high-reliability and R&D screening programs.
