What the 900 kHz bandwidth buys you
The 2.5 V/µs slew rate ensures the output voltage can swing rail-to-rail within a microsecond or two, which matters if you are feeding the signal into a comparator for overcurrent trip. The 20 µA input bias current is non-negligible when the shunt resistor is in the milliohm range — budget for the voltage drop it creates across the shunt, especially at low sense voltages.
Temperature range and package fit
The SOT-23-5 package (SC-74A, SOT-753) is a five-pin surface-mount footprint common in compact power-stage layouts. Surface-mount only — no through-hole option. The supply current of 1.5 mA is typical for a precision current sense amp; it is not a micropower part, but it is low enough to leave headroom in a 24 V supply budget.
