Supply range and sensing topology
This is a single-channel current sense amplifier with a supply span from 2.7 V up to 20 V. That 2.7 V minimum lets it run off a 3.3 V rail with margin for brownout, while the 20 V maximum covers 12 V and 15 V industrial buses without an external regulator.
Precision and bandwidth for current-loop feedback
Input offset voltage is 5 µV, which is tight enough to resolve a 50 mV drop across a 10 mΩ shunt with better than 1% error. The 900 kHz -3 dB bandwidth and 2.5 V/µs slew rate suit it for monitoring PWM currents in motor drives, solenoids, and DC-DC converters switching in the tens to low hundreds of kilohertz. Supply current is 1.5 mA, reasonable for always-on sensing in battery-powered equipment.
Package and footprint notes
Housed in a 5-pin SOT-23 (SC-74A) package, the part is a straightforward hand-solderable surface-mount device. The SOT-23-5 footprint is common and well-supported in layout libraries. No exposed thermal pad — dissipation is through the leads and board copper.
Sourcing and availability
The INA293A4IDBVT is an active, production-part number with no known allocation or shortage flags. For small quantities, cut-tape (CT) or full reels (TR) are both listed as packaging options.
