Automotive current sense in a SOT-23-5
The 1.3 MHz gain-bandwidth product and 2.5 V/µs slew rate are enough to monitor current in motor drives, solenoids, and DC-DC converters switching at a few hundred kilohertz. The 100 µV input offset voltage keeps measurement error low even with small shunt voltages.
The 20 V maximum supply span means the part can sit directly on a nominal 12 V battery line (which can spike to 18 V during cold crank) without a pre-regulator. The 1.5 mA supply current is moderate — fine for a powered module, but not the lowest draw for a battery-backed always-on sense node.
