400 kHz bandwidth — fast enough for motor currents, not for switch-node edges
Its 400 kHz -3 dB bandwidth and 2 V/µs slew rate make it suited for monitoring DC and low-frequency AC load currents in motor drives, solenoids, and power supply rails — but the bandwidth is too low to capture fast switching transients in a buck converter's inductor current. Input offset voltage is 5 µV typ, which keeps the measurement error negligible when sensing across a 10 mΩ shunt at a 1 A load — the offset contributes just 0.05% error on a 10 mV drop. Quiescent current is 1.8 mA, light enough for always-on sensing in battery-powered equipment.
Package and temperature — rework-friendly and thermally capable
The part is surface-mount, so it needs a solder profile, not a socket.
