Current sense amplifier for shunt-based measurement
Its 400 kHz -3dB bandwidth and 2V/µs slew rate let it track current waveforms in switching power supplies and motor-drive phases without aliasing the PWM ripple. The 5 µV typical input offset voltage keeps the zero-current error low enough to resolve milliohm shunt drops in precision overcurrent detection circuits.
A 400 kHz bandwidth covers most 100–200 kHz switching regulators with enough margin to reconstruct the inductor current slope for valley or peak current-mode control loops. The 90 µA input bias current is non-negligible when the shunt resistance is above 1 Ω — it adds a voltage drop that shifts the measured current reading by I_bias × R_shunt.
