Its 400 kHz -3 dB bandwidth and 2 V/µs slew rate support fast overcurrent detection and PWM-loop current feedback in motor drives and DC-DC converters. The 5 µV typical input offset keeps the zero-current error low enough to resolve milliohm shunt drops without calibration.
Quiescent supply current is 1.8 mA, which is moderate for a 400 kHz current-sense amp — it stays below the 2 mA mark that would push a 24 V always-on rail into thermal budget trouble.
