Dual instrumentation amp for precision sensor front-ends
Each channel draws 415 µA supply current, making it practical for multi-channel sensor arrays in battery-operated or thermally constrained systems.
The 2 MHz -3dB bandwidth and 5 V/µs slew rate define the amplifier's ability to accurately reproduce fast-changing signals. For sensor outputs like thermocouple or strain-gauge bridges where the signal bandwidth rarely exceeds a few hundred kilohertz, this combination provides enough speed to maintain phase margin and avoid slew-induced distortion. The 5 V/µs rate is sufficient for amplifying pulse-width-modulated sensor outputs or multiplexed analog channels without significant settling-time penalty.
Temperature range and supply flexibility
Input offset voltage is specified at 2 mV, and input bias current is just 0.5 pA, which reduces errors from source impedance in high-impedance sensor interfaces.
