Current sense amp with zero-drift precision — what it means on your board
The INA212BIDCKR is a single-channel current sense amplifier from the Zero-Drift series. Input offset is 0.55 µV, operating from -40°C to 125°C. Supply range runs from 2.7 V up to 26 V. Quiescent draw is 65 µA. Gain bandwidth product is 14 kHz. That's the frequency where the gain starts rolling off — fine for DC rail monitoring, battery charge/discharge curves, and low-speed overcurrent detection. Not the part for fast-switching supply loops above a few kilohertz.
Package and hand-solderability
Available in Tape & Reel or Cut Tape. If you're prototyping, the Cut Tape option means you can order just a few without committing to a full reel.
Temperature grade and where it fits
Rated for -40°C to 125°C operating temperature. That's the full industrial range plus the hot end of automotive under-hood. No derating needed for outdoor telecom cabinets, engine-bay electronics, or factory-floor enclosures near ovens. The zero-drift topology keeps offset drift negligible across that span.
Lifecycle and sourcing reality
The INA212BIDCKR is listed as Active and RoHS3 compliant. No end-of-life notice, no last-time-buy window.
