Current sense with 30 kHz bandwidth and ±1.5% accuracy
The INA199B2RSWT is a Zero-Drift current-sense amplifier from Texas Instruments that measures current across a shunt resistor on either the high or low side of the supply rail. Its 30 kHz bandwidth and ±1.5% accuracy make it a fit for DC motor current monitoring, power-supply load tracking, and battery-management circuits where the shunt voltage is small and the common-mode voltage swings up to 26 V.
Input range and temperature grade
The input common-mode range extends from -0.1 V to 26 V, independent of the supply voltage — so the amplifier can sit on the high side of a 24 V bus and still resolve a 10 mV drop across the shunt without level shifting. Housed in a 10-UFQFN (1.8 mm × 1.4 mm) package, the INA199B2RSWT occupies roughly the footprint of a 0805 resistor — useful when the PCB real estate is tight and the sense amplifier must sit close to the shunt to minimise Kelvin-trace inductance.
