What this current sense amplifier does on your board
The Texas Instruments INA199A2RSWT is a current-sense amplifier that measures voltage across a shunt resistor on either the high side or low side of the supply rail. The ±1.5% accuracy over the full temperature range keeps the power-monitoring budget tight enough for most industrial and automotive loads without requiring a precision instrumentation amplifier.
No separate automotive-grade variant is needed for most chassis and cabin-domain applications.
It is ROHS3 compliant.
