Current sense amp with a 350 kHz bandwidth ceiling
The INA180B4IDBVT is a single-circuit current sense amplifier from Texas Instruments' INA180 family, designed to measure current via a shunt resistor and output a proportional voltage. Its 350 kHz bandwidth and 2V/µs slew rate set the upper bound on how fast the output can track a load transient — below that corner, the amplifier settles accurately; above it, the output slews and the measurement lags the event.
Supply range, quiescent draw, and temperature grade
Quiescent supply current is 260 µA — low enough to keep the thermal budget under control in a densely populated board, but not the ultra-low-power choice for battery applications that sleep for months.
Housed in a 5-pin SOT-23 (SC-74A, SOT-753), the footprint is standard for small-signal amplifiers — the 0.95 mm pitch and 2.9 mm body length fit into tight layouts without a dedicated power plane.
