Precision low-frequency signal conditioning
The INA126PA is a single-channel instrumentation amplifier from Texas Instruments, designed for precision differential signal acquisition. Its 0.4 V/µs slew rate and 200 kHz bandwidth suit it for low-frequency sensor conditioning — bridge transducers, thermocouple amplifiers, and medical instrumentation front-ends where common-mode rejection matters more than speed. Supply current is 175 µA, making it viable for battery-powered or loop-powered designs where quiescent draw is budgeted.
Through-hole package and industrial temperature range
Housed in an 8-DIP (0.300-inch, 7.62 mm pitch) through-hole package, the INA126PA is suited for prototyping, rework-friendly assemblies, and low-volume production where surface-mount reflow is not available. The 8-PDIP footprint is a standard breadboard-compatible layout.
The amplifier operates from a single or dual supply spanning 2.7 V to 36 V total. Output can source or sink 10 mA per channel, sufficient to drive the input of a successive ADC or a downstream filter stage without an additional buffer.
