LVDS receiver for high-speed backplane and cable links
The DS90LV032ATMX/NOPB is a quad LVDS receiver from Texas Instruments, part of the DS90LV032A family, designed to convert differential LVDS signals back to single-ended CMOS levels at data rates up to 400 Mbps per channel. With four independent receivers in a single 16-SOIC package, it handles four differential pairs simultaneously — typical in a 4-lane LVDS link carrying a parallel bus or multiple serial streams across a backplane or cable.
Package and board integration
Housed in a 16-SOIC package with a 3.90 mm body width (0.154 inches), the footprint matches the industry-standard 1.27 mm pitch SOIC land pattern — the narrow body allows placement in tight channel spacing on a 4-layer board with inner-plane splits under the package. The surface-mount package is supplied in tape and reel (TR) or cut tape (CT) options, compatible with standard pick-and-place assembly and reflow profiles for 16-SOIC.
Lifecycle and compliance status
Fully ROHS3 compliant, with no restricted substances above the threshold limits — the NOPB suffix confirms lead-free and halogen-free construction.
