Dual LVDS driver at 155 Mbps — what the 8-SOIC package and 3.3 V rail mean for the link budget

155 Mbps — what it buys in the signal chain
At 155 Mbps the output transition time is fast enough that the differential trace pair needs controlled impedance (typically 100 Ω differential) and matched electrical length within a few millimetres to avoid common-mode noise conversion. For a board that already has a 3.3 V rail and stays inside a conditioned environment, this driver fits without a regulator change.
