What this dual LVDS driver does on your board
It converts two single-ended CMOS/LVTTL signals into a differential LVDS pair per channel, hitting a 155 Mbps data rate per channel.
At 155 Mbps the driver handles standard SDI video, 100Base-FX serialiser outputs, or backplane data at typical LVDS signalling distances (a few metres over twisted-pair or PCB traces). The differential swing is around 350 mV typical, which keeps EMI low and lets you run the pair without a ground reference at the receiver end. If your link needs 400 Mbps or more, you step up to the DS90LV031 or a faster CML driver — but for 155 Mbps this part is a clean fit.
The part ships in Tube. Surface-mount only, no through-hole option.
