PCIe Gen3 signal conditioning — eight lanes, one package
The Texas Instruments DS80PCI810NJYT is an 8-channel PCI Express® buffer and redriver that regenerates and equalises PCIe Gen3 (8 Gbps) serial links. Each of the eight channels handles CML input and output, with a fixed 80 ps delay through the device. The 5 pF input capacitance keeps the load light on the upstream transmitter, important when routing across a backplane or through a long motherboard trace. Supply voltage spans 2.5 V to 3.3 V; the part draws 220 mA typical.
