PCIe Gen3 redriver — eight lanes in a single 54-WQFN
Input equalization and output de-emphasis are built in — the redriver can compensate for board trace and connector loss up to the equalization range the link requires. That matters when the channel runs through a backplane or a long PCB trace where the eye diagram would otherwise close. Supply range is 2.375 V to 3.6 V. The 200 ps propagation delay adds deterministic latency to the link budget.
Industrial temperature and package
Rated -40°C to 85°C, the DS80PCI402SQ/NOPB suits outdoor telecom cabinets, factory-floor backplanes, and other environments where the ambient temperature swings. The 54-WQFN exposed pad needs a thermal via pattern under the package to pull heat into the PCB ground plane — standard practice for this footprint. Input capacitance is 10 pF per channel, which is typical for a redriver input stage and does not load the upstream transmitter beyond what the PCIe spec expects.
Active production, no obsolescence concern
No end-of-life notice, no last-time-buy window. For a BOM freeze or a new design, this part does not carry the supply-chain risk of a phased-out device.
