Eight low-side drivers with SPI — what you get
The DRV8860PWR integrates eight NMOS low-side switches, a control engine, and a power stage in a 16-TSSOP package. Each output is rated for 200 mA continuous, and the supply rail accepts 8 V to 38 V. Communication is over SPI.
200 mA per channel — sizing the load budget
Each of the eight low-side outputs sinks 200 mA. That is enough for small relays, indicator lamps, solenoid valves, or the phases of a unipolar stepper motor.
For dual-sourcing, the DRV8811PWPR is a functional peer but uses half-bridge outputs (four channels at 1.9 A) and a Logic interface rather than SPI; verify your output configuration before substituting.
