330 mA per channel — eight low-side NMOS outputs
The DRV8860PWPR integrates eight low-side NMOS drivers rated at 330 mA continuous per channel, with a supply and load voltage range of 8 V to 38 V. This covers common 12 V and 24 V industrial rails as well as automotive battery voltage with margin for transients. The SPI interface controls all eight outputs over a single serial bus, allowing daisy-chain operation with other SPI devices — useful when driving multiple solenoids, relays, or small motors from a single MCU port.
Brushed DC and unipolar stepper duty
The driver supports brushed DC motors and unipolar stepper motors. The eight low-side outputs can be paralleled for higher current on a single load, or used independently for eight separate inductive loads such as relays or small solenoids.
Package and thermal management
Housed in a 16-PowerTSSOP (also designated 16-HTSSOP) with an exposed thermal pad.
No pin-compatible second source is recorded from TI — the SPI register map and output structure are specific to this device.
