The Texas Instruments DRV8842PWPR is a fully integrated motor driver combining control logic and a power stage in a single 28-PowerTSSOP package. It drives one bipolar stepper motor or two brushed DC motors using two internal N-channel Power MOSFET half-bridges. The parallel interface accepts step/direction or phase/enable signals directly from a microcontroller or indexer without external sequencing logic. Supply and load share a single rail from 8.2 V to 45 V. The output is rated for 3.5 A continuous. Junction temperature spans -40°C to 150°C.
