600 mA per bridge — what it drives
The DRV8833CRTER is a dual H-bridge motor driver from Texas Instruments, integrating both the control logic and the power MOSFET output stage.
Supply range and thermal envelope
The driver operates from a single supply rail of 2.7 V to 10.8 V.
PWM interface and motor types
Control is via standard PWM inputs — one per half-bridge pair — so any MCU with timer outputs can drive it without a dedicated motion controller. The four half-bridges can be configured as two independent H-bridges for brushed DC motors, or combined as a single H-bridge for a bipolar stepper motor with full-step or microstep drive.
The small footprint suits space-constrained designs like compact robotics, handheld tools, and small actuator boards.
