AEC-Q100 Hall sensor with a wide supply window
The DRV5053VAEDBZRQ1 is a single-axis linear Hall-effect sensor from Texas Instruments, qualified to AEC-Q100 Grade 0 for automotive applications. The analog voltage output scales linearly with the perpendicular magnetic field, with a ±9 mT sensing range that covers common ferrous-target proximity and current-sense magnets. The 20 kHz bandwidth resolves fast-rotating targets such as gear teeth or motor commutation poles up to several thousand RPM.
Temperature grade and environment
The temperature-compensated bias circuit keeps the quiescent output voltage stable across the band, so the ADC reference does not drift with engine heat. The SOT-23-3 package (TO-236, SC-59 compatible footprint) keeps the board area under 3 mm². Surface-mount assembly with standard reflow profiles; no special pad geometry beyond the three-land layout in the datasheet.
