Single-axis Hall sensor with ±35 mT range
The DRV5053PAQLPGM is a single-axis Hall-effect sensor from Texas Instruments' Automotive, AEC-Q100 series, delivering an analog voltage output proportional to the applied magnetic field. Its ±35 mT sensing range and 20 kHz bandwidth make it a fit for linear position sensing in motor drives, pedal position, or current-sense modules where the field stays within that window. The wide supply voltage of 2.5 V to 38 V means the sensor can share a 5 V or 12 V bus without a separate regulator — a practical advantage for BOM consolidation.
Through-hole TO-92-3 package and supply current
Housed in a TO-92-3 short-body package, the DRV5053PAQLPGM is a through-hole part — hand-assembly friendly. Maximum supply current is 3.6 mA, and the output can sink or source up to 2.3 mA, which is enough to drive a microcontroller ADC input directly without a buffer.
