Single-axis linear Hall sensor in SOT-23-3
The Texas Instruments DRV5053OAQDBZR is a single-axis linear Hall-effect sensor with an analog voltage output, packaged in a SOT-23-3 (TO-236-3 / SC-59) footprint. The sensor detects magnetic flux density perpendicular to the package face across a ±73 mT range, outputting a ratiometric analog voltage proportional to the field. With a 20 kHz bandwidth, it captures fast-changing fields for applications like brushless-DC motor commutation or throttle position feedback.
Wide supply range and temperature compensation
Supply voltage spans 2.5 V to 38 V, allowing direct operation from a 12 V automotive battery rail without an external regulator. The 3.6 mA max supply current keeps the load on the bus low, and the 2.3 mA max output current drives the ADC input directly.
