Single-axis analog Hall sensor for 12 V/24 V automotive and industrial sensing
The DRV5053EAQLPG is a single-axis linear Hall-effect sensor from Texas Instruments, part of the Automotive AEC-Q100-qualified DRV5053 family. It outputs an analog voltage proportional to the perpendicular magnetic flux density, with a sensing range of ±18 mT and a bandwidth of 20 kHz. The wide supply range of 2.7 V to 38 V lets it operate directly on automotive 12 V or 24 V rails without an external regulator, and the -40°C to 125°C temperature grade covers under-hood and industrial enclosures.
Parametric fit: supply, output, and thermal budget
Maximum supply current is 3.6 mA, and the analog output can source up to 2.3 mA — enough to drive a typical ADC input or a microcontroller's analog pin directly without a buffer.
It is RoHS3 compliant and fully qualified to AEC-Q100, making it suitable for new automotive designs and long-life industrial programs. The TO-92-3 package is widely stocked across distribution channels; lead time is quoted per order.
