Product details

Parametric fit for automotive and industrial position sensing

The DRV5053CAQDBZRQ1 is a single-axis Hall-effect sensor with a ±35 mT sensing range, outputting a ratiometric analog voltage proportional to the applied magnetic flux density. The 20 kHz bandwidth means it can track rotating magnetic fields up to 20,000 cycles per second — adequate for brushless DC motor commutation and wheel-speed sensing in automotive drivetrains. The AEC-Q100 qualification (series Automotive, AEC-Q100) confirms it has passed the reliability stress tests required for Tier-1 automotive programs, including PPAP documentation support.

Supply voltage flexibility and output drive

The analog output sources up to 2.3 mA, enough to drive a typical ADC input directly. Supply current is 3.6 mA max, keeping the thermal load low in the SOT-23-3 package.

Housed in the SOT-23-3 (TO-236-3, SC-59) surface-mount package, the part fits a standard three-pin footprint with a 0.95 mm pitch. The small body suits space-constrained sensor modules and can be placed on the bottom side of a PCB to sense a magnet on the opposite side of the board.
