Single-axis Hall sensor with ±35mT range and 20kHz bandwidth
It outputs an analog voltage proportional to the applied magnetic field, with a sensing range of ±35mT and a bandwidth of 20kHz — fast enough to track rotor position in a BLDC motor or detect current transients in a power rail. The wide supply voltage range of 2.7V to 38V lets it run directly off an automotive battery bus or a regulated 3.3V/5V rail without a secondary LDO. The TO-92-3 package is the classic three-lead through-hole format — easy to hand-assemble or socket on a prototype board.
Temperature grade and AEC-Q100 qualification
The temperature-compensated design keeps the sensitivity drift within spec across the full range — important when the sensor is bolted to a motor housing that sees under-hood heat soak. The maximum supply current is 3.6mA, and the analog output can source up to 2.3mA — enough to drive the ADC input of a typical MCU directly without a buffer. The output is ratiometric to the supply voltage, so any noise on the supply rail appears on the output; a local decoupling cap at the sensor pins is recommended.
