Its 150°C junction rating and 2.7 V to 38 V supply range make it a direct fit for engine-bay and transmission oil-temperature environments where the ambient can hit 125°C and the supply rail is unregulated. The analog voltage output (0 V to Vcc proportional to field) feeds directly into an MCU ADC without a digital interface — no SPI/I2C bus loading, no protocol latency.
