Omnipolar Hall switch in SOT-23-3
The Texas Instruments DRV5033FAQDBZR is an omnipolar magnetic switch in a three-pin SOT-23 package. It responds to both north and south pole fields of sufficient strength, eliminating the need to orient the magnet during assembly. The device operates from a 2.5 V supply rail and delivers an open-drain output, sinking up to 30 mA when the field exceeds the trip threshold.
Trip point and temperature range
The switch trips at 3.5 mT (typical) and releases at 2 mT, providing a 1.5 mT hysteresis window that prevents output chatter near the threshold. This is a fixed-threshold device — no external programming or trimming is needed.
